Ancient Sites and the Cambrian Coast

Mid and west Wales.

A route that connects prehistoric Wales with vibrant coastal towns.

Visit Pentre Ifan, a striking Neolithic burial chamber older than Stonehenge, set high above the surrounding countryside. From here, follow the coast through colourful harbour towns such as New Quay, famous for its resident dolphins and relaxed seaside charm.

The journey can continue inland to traditional market towns like Dolgellau, set beneath the rugged peaks of Cadair Idris.

A wonderful mix of ancient history, wildlife and mountain scenery.
